Searching for a Home

CBST’s membership numbered around a hundred at the time of the move to 151 Bank Street (July 1975). Since the new space was unfurnished, plans were made to buy 100 folding chairs. But Irving Cooperberg argued for buying 400. Others said he was crazy, but he replied, buy the chairs, the people will come. And they did.
