Searching for a Home

Throughout its 34 year history, CBST has been searching for a space it could truly call its own. The search has been exacerbated by the growth of the congregation, which has meant that each space in turn was soon not big enough. The major difficulty, however, is crushing expense of Manhattan real estate. Nevertheless, CBST remains hopeful—30+years after this brief note appeared in the first issue of its newsletter—that it will someday have a building of its own that is fully adequate to its needs.
