HONORING MEMBERS OF BROAD STREET PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
COLUMBUS, OHIO
In honor of Gretchen Metzelaars, Susan Jones, and all the gay and lesbian members of Broad Street Presbyterian church who love and embrace the Presbyterian Church in spite of its unwillingness to embrace them fully as children of God. From them we have learned the true meaning of hospitality and have received the gift of knowing them as friends and sisters In Christ. We celebrate their courage and honesty in sharing who they are so that we may better understand their journey.

This stole was created for the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which met in Columbus, OH in 2002. More Light Presbyterians held its annual service of worship and celebration at Broad Street Church during the Assembly.
