REV. ROD REINHART

EPISCOPAL

17 years ago Rod Reinhart founded People Who Care About People With AIDS, an AIDS Ministry of the Episcopal Church. He is an active interim minister in the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. He is currently rector of Nativity Episcopal Church in Bloomfield Hills.

Fr. Reinhart fought a long struggle against the forces of prejudice and homophobia in order to be ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church. He has long been an open advocate of full inclusion and equality for GLBT in society and the church.

Fr. Reinhart is also the founder of the World Sabbath of Religious Reconciliation. This is a new interfaith holy day dedicated to making peace among all religions, races, nations and ethnic groups.
