This collection documents Norman Sandfield's work with LGBTQ Jewish endeavors. It includes newsletters, flyers, pamphlets, programs, and press clippings from various Chicago-based and national religious and AIDS advocacy organizations.

Hist/Bio Note

Norman Sandfield served as an organizer of gay and lesbian Jewish activities and AIDS programs in Chicago and internationally as part of his membership in Chicago’s Congregation of Chadash. He co-founded the Jewish AIDS Network and works on interfaith relations in Chicago’s LGBT communities.
