Don Stroud

Stole Text

This stole presented on 4/9/99 to the Rev. Donald E. Stroud, an openly gay Presbyterian Church (USA) minister, on the occasion of his commissioning as an evangelist with That All May Freely Serve: Baltimore.  That All May Freely Serve strives to make the PC(USA) a just and fully inclusive community in which all people, especially lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, are free to be elected, ordained, and installed as elders, deacons, and ministers of word and sacrament.  This stole was created by Jim Schuman, an openly gay elder in Baltimore, MD.

Contribution Story

Don Stroud, an ordained Presbyterian minister, coordinates the office of TAMFS Baltimore.  This office is primarily sponsored by eight Presbyterian churches in the Baltimore area.  Don's work there has centered around educational efforts in local congregations and church legislation locally and nationally.
